Bring Back the Stars at Night

from Science Art Project by Cold Womb Descent

about

When was the last time you have seen the starry night? Assuming you live in the city or in urban area. To those who don't - we envy!

It is fair to assume that astrological observations played a very important (if not the crucial) role in the development of mankind and laying down the foundations for societies as we know them. Along the civilizational path, the influences were slowly washed away and blurred with layers of mythology and literature they inspired.

Nowadays, we live in the society that is getting away not only from all things spiritual, but also from nature and the stars whose observation to this day provides with this primal sense of awe and curiosity, in spite of which all our mortal concerns seem to pale. The universal sense of gratitude for what we have at hand on Earth. So easy to reach - yet obstructed by lights.

We remind you to reconnect with the starry night sky once in a while. Just look at it. Gaze into the abyss and the abyss will start to gaze back at the forgotten corners of you.
